Your very welcom,I my self am a watch lover and I've worked in the bussiness for six years now and I can tell you this hell of a job for a concept,Wow!
I'm a designer/artist aslo, but rarely work on icons. It's something that has interested me for a couple of years now. I'm finally ready to dedicate more time to developing some for enjoyment. Can you share any tips or advice, links, etc. for someone just starting in this area?
Well, I can tell you this: 'When I started I asked the same questions to several (icon)designers. Almost everyone of them told/advised me to look up and grab as many tutorials as I could find on the www and to start practising with these tutorials. And that's what I did. I put a lot of effort in practising to learn and improve my skills. So, as designers in the past advised me, my advice to you is today: practising, practising and again practising and try to create your own unique style.' Good luck, my friend!
