Nikon VR Lens Icon v2 by SoundForge Nikon VR Lens Icon v2 by SoundForge
Here's a second high quality version of my Nikon VR Lens icon (Glossy version), 100% drawn in Photoshop, which can be used as a replacement icon for any photo-editing software you use.

This version is different than fav.me/d2unm8o (the first version) I made earlier. The first (Matte) version was inspired by a photo I had of the lens. This second version is made with the original lens in front of me (Yes, I bought this beauty this week ;) ), so it looks more realistic and true to the original lens now.

Hope you like this icon. (If you do, please fav and/or comment. Feedback will be very much appreciated!)

The icon looks just stunning. Definetly better than the fist version, and the first version is amazing too.

So, you bought it? That's nice too. Almost envious. :-)

Thanks for the compliment Asher. The shadow of the preview is different than the shadow of the icons in the download package (doubled the shadow for the preview) ;)

great improvement over v1 for sure!

but there's still one problem. open the ICNS version and then PNG version. they are clearly different in terms of color and darkness. i think the ICNS versions are incorrect?

Thanks JR :D

I've opened the ICNS and PNG version, but I see no differences. Can you sent me a picture (by note), where I can see the differences you rise against?

it's mac, it uses different color schemes than windows, so .icns can look a bit different sometimes.
although i've never seen such big difference..

Aha I see, I don't know what that is. I've converted the 512x512 PNG version to ICNS, as I always do, with first Axialis Iconworkshop and second via iConvert: Convert icons, both give the same result. Would you be so kind or do you have a possibilty to convert the PNG's in the ZIP package to decent 512x512, 256x256 and 128x128 ICNS and send them to me (by note)? Would be much appreciated! ;)

I checked your files, and although .ico and .icns are identical, .png files use different color scheme, don't know why.

As written in my post above, I've converted the original .png files with 1. Axialis Iconworkshop and 2. iConvert: Convert icons and there are no differences between the outcome of these two. I really don't know what's wrong or what I do wrong. Hadn't this problems with my other icon releases. When you convert the .png files to .ico and .icns with the program you (normaly) use, do you get the same outcome then?

Don't know, i use Axialis IconWorkshop as well, and sometimes i get slightly different results. I just tested files from your zip, and got the same result. I've opened your files, and exported them all to photoshop, and although icns and ico are the same, they are slightly different than png.

When i export .icns to .png, they are all the same, i can and send .png to you, if you want.

Would you do something for me Milos? Would you be so kind to convert the .png files (512, 256 and 128px) from the package to .ico and .icns and send them to me, so I can be sure it's not my computer. I would really appreciate that. Thanks in advance ;)
